Company Overview:

Founded in 2019 as Glutality and rebranded in 2023. StrideMD emerged from the need to broaden our focus beyond remote patient monitoring for diabetes. With the acquisition of endocrinology clinics and leveraging our expertise in remote patient monitoring, telehealth, and comprehensive healthcare services, we are dedicated to providing a full spectrum of care. Our mission is to integrate innovative technology with personalized, in-person healthcare to enhance patient outcomes and improve quality of life. Through our commitment to excellence and our patient-centric approach, StrideMD strives to be a leader in the evolving landscape of healthcare.

Position Objectives:

We are looking for a committed Telemedicine Physician to join our team in a fully remote role. In this position, you will provide comprehensive care and support to patients managing diabetes, including conducting initial consultations, assisting with ongoing diabetes management, and facilitating enrollment in our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program. The ideal candidate will hold multiple state licenses, with a preference for all 51. If not already licensed in all states, you must be willing to obtain the necessary licenses. This role requires a commitment of five days per week (40 hours), with an expectation of managing approximately 25 patient encounters per day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct telemedicine consultations with diabetes patients, offering personalized care and support.
  • Perform initial patient encounters and enroll eligible patients in the Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program.
  • Order Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) for patients who meet the criteria and request this service.
  • Provide guidance and adjustments to treatment plans for patients whose glucose levels are not adequately controlled.
  • Collaborate with patients to enhance their diabetes management without replacing the relationship they have with their Primary Care Physician and/or Endocrinologist.
  • Work closely with Diabetic Coaches, Monitoring Specialists, Dietitians, and Diabetic Educators, who handle day-to-day monitoring.

Qualifications:
  • Must be licensed to practice medicine in the U.S. and eligible to provide telemedicine services in multiple states. Must have at least 40 state licenses and be willing to obtain all 51 licenses.
  • Must reside within the United States or a U.S. Territory.
  • Experience in diabetes care, including the use of CGMs and Remote Patient Monitoring, is preferred, but you do not have to be an Endocrinologist.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care remotely.
  • Comfortable working remotely with a flexible schedule, including some evening and weekend hours.

Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged Sitting: The role involves sitting for extended periods while conducting virtual consultations, reviewing patient records, and completing documentation.
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment is required for performing job duties, including data entry and managing patient information.
  • Visual Acuity: The job requires good vision for reading patient records, reviewing data on screens, and conducting video consultations with patients.
  • Communication: The ability to speak clearly and listen carefully during patient interactions and team meetings is essential, ensuring effective communication.

Work Environment:
  • This role is performed in a remote environment, typically in a home office setting. Candidates should have a quiet, private workspace to conduct patient consultations without distractions.
