Position Overview:
 

Join a well-established endocrinology practice in Lake Mary, FL, with a 26-year legacy in serving the community. We are seeking an Endocrinologist to join our team and work alongside the founding physician until her retirement in mid-2025. This position offers an excellent opportunity to step into a thriving practice with an established patient base and supportive infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Provide comprehensive endocrinology care to patients in an outpatient setting.
  • Collaborate with the founding physician and staff to maintain continuity of care and uphold practice standards.
  • Establish and maintain a strong referral network with local healthcare providers and specialists.
  • Oversee and support 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in delivering patient care.
  • Work closely with dedicated Medical Assistants assigned to each provider to ensure efficient patient flow and coordination.
  • Facilitate the management of diabetic patients by setting them up on Remote Patient Monitoring with the assistance of Monitoring Specialists/Diabetic Coaches.
  • Conduct pump training sessions for patients with the support of the employed Diabetic Educator.
  • Utilize EMR system (Eclinical) for documentation and patient management.

Requirements:
 

  • Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.
  • Active medical license in the state of Florida or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Prior experience in an outpatient endocrinology setting preferred but not required.
